At Partners in Psychiatry and Psychology, we recognize that although every individual is unique there are certain issues that people share with one another as they face life's challenges. We captured some of these common issues and translated them into a series of classes, groups and organized programs that we call Partners in Healing Programs.

The Partners in Healing Programs are organized around different issues:

 

Particular illness conditions (e.g. Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), chronic pain, fertility issues, or cancer care).


Particular issues that complicate healing (e.g. excessive levels of stress; unhealthy guilty and shame, inability to forgive; lack of social support).


Particular skills that help you take charge of your life and manage the stresses of life more effectively (e.g. learning to use guided imagery, getting training in self-hypnosis, practicing meditation or doing yoga).


All of our programs are designed with attention to the interaction of mind and body. Our programs involve home-based practice between sessions. Privacy/confidentiality is strictly maintained. Our goal is to put you on a path where you can optimize your health and well-being.
